Connect an agent

Choose your client, then approve its access with your owner account. Connected agents can read and control tmux on every enrolled host.

OAuth sign-in is required.

Previously connected through workers.dev? Remove that connection and add this URL once. Old authorizations no longer work.

ChatGPT
  1. Open Settings → Apps / connectors. Enable developer mode if your plan requires it.
  2. Create a custom connector named mytmux with the MCP URL above and OAuth authentication.
  3. Sign in as the owner and choose Allow.

Remove the old workers.dev connector first if you already connected.

Claude Code
  1. Run the command below in your terminal.
  2. Open /mcp in Claude Code and authenticate. Sign in as the owner and choose Allow.

For an existing connection, run claude mcp remove mytmux first.

  2. Open the displayed device page. Check that its code matches your terminal, then approve.

The CLI defaults to https://mytmux.lol. Each login gets its own revocable connection.

Check the endpoint with curl

A 401 Unauthorized response is expected without a token. It confirms the endpoint requires authentication; use a client above to sign in.
